Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and maintaining plumbing systems, including hot/cold water, heat pumps, sanitary fixtures, and discharge pipes.
- Measuring, cutting, brazing, and assembling PVC and copper pipes for leak-free and code-compliant connections.
- Installing fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire hydrants, hose reels, and associated pipework.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings for both underground and overhead installations
- Fabricating and fitting pipes and components onsite or in workshop settings, including threading and welding.
- Detecting and repairing leaks, replacing damaged sections, and upgrade plumbing or piping systems as needed.
- Working safely and efficiently on plumbing and fire protection systems, including troubleshooting issues across residential, commercial, and civil projects
Requirements:
- A 3+ years’ experience in pipefitting or plumbing in commercial and residential projects.
- Ability to identify and fix leaks, replace pipes, and troubleshoot systems.
- Current Site Safe certification.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and thread machines
- EWP and Limited license preferred but not required.
